OBJECTIVE: One of the most controversial issues in pediatric orthopedics is Developmental dysplasia hip (DDH). The timing diagnosis and treatment are main goal to treat this condition successfully. Neglected cases that may remain undiagnosed until advancing age still seen especially developing countries. Delayed with leads more extensive surgery cause low satisfactory rates. aim study evaluate effect patients’ on results single-stage Dysplasia Hip.MATERIAL AND METHODS: 23 patients (34 hips) treated our hospital between 2004 2010 were included study. Single-stage including open reduction, femoral shortening, Salter’s innominate osteotomy was applied whose mean 7.5 years. Radiological evaluated terms improvement acetabular index, angle according Severin’s classification, Bucholz Ogden’s avascular necrosis (AVN) classification at final follow-up.RESULTS: average follow-up period 60 (range: 24 - 84) months. While index 39.7°±1.4° 25°- 52°) preoperatively, it measured as 21.8°±1.8° postoperatively. amount 17.9°±0.8°. According one patient (2.9%) had Type 1 AVN 3 AVN.
